Players complete tasks that boost their: anticipation, concentration, spatial awareness, decision-making, and adaptability. By enhancing cognitive performance for athletes around the world, we intend to help athletes react better in real-time and ultimately play safer and smarter.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I serve as a lead advisor for the largest sports VC fund in North America – Stadia Venture. One of our top performing portfolio companies is IntelliGym: the #1 selling cognitive training software for youth athletes in the sports of soccer and hockey. Patented and tested by NASA, U.S Army, DARPA and multiple universities, IntelliGym improves awareness, anticipation, and decision making on the field and ice plus is proven to keep young athletes safer playing the sports they love.
For what projects/services did your company hire AdToro, and what were your goals?
As IntelliGym expands it’s brand in the U.S. (company based in Tel Aviv), Ad Toro was hired to help with brand awareness, digital strategies, consultive ad spend models, creative positioning for video and image ads. The goals are to take the current ROAS and conversation rates and improve to number that exceed the last 2 years of efforts.
How Did You Select AdToro?
Our team felt they understood the brand positioning today for an organization that needs to increase its brand footprint and become more of a sports household name and solution. AdToro also understood that most young athletes (or their parents- / coaches) do not know what cognitive sports training even is – after a few conversation, they put together a well thought-out roadmap for launch and continued success for the rest of 2021 (knowing sports are seasonal). They also conveyed their strategies and tactics in easy to understand non-digital languge.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
Create video and image ads on Google and Facebook. Define KPI’s and CPA’s around both software products (knowing there are differences in pricing and training structure). Also improve conversation tracking, A/B testing SEO, keywords and audeinces.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
In a down time for youth sports in 2020 and 2021. Since bringing in AdToro, we have seen a nice lift in sales, conversation rates, website traffic.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We receive weekly reports from Ad Toro. After the 1st month were we had multiple Zoom calls – we agreed going forward we would schedule calls monthly or as needed – all has worked out favorably and Ad Toro has been flexible in scheduling, especially with the 7 hour time difference.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Willingness to work within budgets. Willingness to scale at a manageable rate vs. going to fast just because of some early success. Access to the team very quickly. Good understanding of a unique software product.
Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?
Maybe ask for better or more current creative images and videos from IntelliGym.
