We empower Product Professional with the tools and knowledge to create products that matter. We have been in business for over 20 years and serve clients around the world. Our products and services include consulting, contractors, training, certifications, templates, coaching, books, and a Product Management optimization program. In my role as Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, I manage our digital strategy, our marketing tech stack, and marketing operations.

For what projects/services did your company hire AdToro, and what were your goals?

We were looking for a partner that would help us with our advertising strategy and execution on search and social.

How Did You Select AdToro?

We felt AdToro’s values aligned with our company values. We could tell they had the intelligence and experience to help us achieve our goals while staying in alignment with our values. They are also very data-driven without making things complicated, that was a huge plus.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

They manage all our paid media channels and are brainstorming with us to understand what other channels we could experiment with. We meet weekly to discuss what trends we’re noticing and what changes we could make to optimize our campaigns. AdToro partners with us to refresh our creatives and create and landing pages we need to run a campaign. It’s been helpful for them to be so hands-on but also be able to take a step back and look at the overarching strategy.

What was the team composition?

I meet with and work directly with our paid media buyer and graphic designer.

The Outcome

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We’re very happy with the outcomes we’ve had so far. One of the biggest changes AdToro made was to our attribution windows. They made the windows smaller, allowing us to really see how effective our media is.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have weekly meetings to talk about new learnings from the last week and to review the progress of our campaigns. We also have a Slack channel where can communicate as-needed. The AdToro team has also been very open to work with our other marketing vendors and join monthly meetings we host to ensure we’re all on the same page and working towards the same goals.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They hold themselves accountable. If we run into any issues, we’re able to communicate about it directly to them. And they come to a set of steps moving forward, and AdToro follows that plan very well.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

Nothing in particular. Their team is transparent and open to feedback that if anything does come up, they’re receptive and adjust accordingly.
